Red River

Camping in July means escape from the Texas heat! But we have so much fun. Smores were a new experience for Ian and Wyatt. And we also got to be with Nay and Papaw.

We took a jeep ride up to Greenie Peak. I loved seeing all my guys just enjoying the outdoors!

On our way back we stopped for a picnic in a meadow. Ian was having a blast. He loved the bumpy roads and looking out the window for mud puddles. He was also quite the butterfly hunter. He masterd being able to capture them with his hands by the end of the trip.

We were able to go fishing at a fish hatchery. Jacob has gotten very good a casting his own line. Ian is still learning patience (and so is his daddy). Then we got to feed the fish because we had no luck catching any.
